The Lodge on Lake Oconee

Nestled in one of the many coves on Lake Oconee, The Lodge is a haven from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Located just a short drive from Atlanta, Athens, Macon, and Augusta, The Lodge offers a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. This charming, 81-room hotel features spacious guest rooms and suites that hearken back to simpler days when the world wasn’t overrun with the constant bombardment of technology. It’s an escape to simpler times and quiet days and nights on the water.

The Lodge is a place for family friendly vacations where kids can fish off the docks out back for bass, crappie, and bluegills. For those that prefer to be out on the water, kayak, canoe, and pedal boats are available to rent at the hotel.  Motor boats, pontoon boats, and jet skis can be rented at nearby facilities.

When the sun sets head out back to the lakefront and relax in the subtle glow of the dock lights and gather around the fire pit. Roast hot dogs or marshmallows over the fire – and don’t forget the chocolate bars and graham crackers to make S’mores to satisfy your sweet tooth.

After a peaceful night’s rest, head down to the dining room and get your day started off right with our free breakfast. Enjoy eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh waffles, fruits, cereals, yogurt, breakfast breads, and more.

Need a break from the lake? All of the major Atlanta area attractions are just over an hour away. Catch a Braves’ game, visit the zoo, the aquarium, or step out for a night on the town then head back to the Lodge for a great night’s sleep.

So, come join us at The Lodge, unplug from the world and enjoy a relaxing vacation on the water. You’ve earned this break.
