Things to do at The Lodge
Kayak, Canoe, and Pedal Boat Rentals
The Lodge offers an assortment of on-site kayak, canoe, and pedal boat rentals. Prices are $10 per hour or $20 for a half day (4 hours). Life jackets are included. Rentals are available beginning at 9 a.m. No rentals may begin after 6 p.m.
Kids Fish with the GM
Kids can spend an early evening fishing with the General Manager of The Lodge on the docks out back of the hotel. Bring your own gear or use fishing gear provided by the hotel. Check with Guest Services or the events calendar for dates and times.

Visit Nearby Atlanta Attractions
While many of our hotel visitors come from Atlanta for a break from the city, many of our other visitors don’t realize how close we are to the city. In fact, some of the top attractions in Atlanta are just over an hour from our hotel.
This allows guests to spend the day on the lake and then take a trip into the city in the evening for dinner, to catch an Atlanta Braves game, and more. Guests can also take a day away from Lake Oconee and visit Zoo Atlanta, the Coca Cola Museum, and other great Atlanta attractions.
Each of these attractions is less than a 90 minute drive from our hotel.
