Day Trips to Atlanta
While many of our hotel visitors come from Atlanta for a break from the city, many of our other visitors don’t realize how close we are to the city. In fact, some of the top attractions in Atlanta are just over an hour from our hotel.
This allows guests to spend the day on the lake and then take a trip into the city in the evening for dinner, to catch an Atlanta Braves game, and more. Guests can also take a day away from Lake Oconee and visit Zoo Atlanta, the Coca Cola Museum, and other great Atlanta attractions.
Each of these attractions is less than a 90 minute drive from our hotel.
It's A Great Day For Baseball!
If you’re a baseball fan, The Lodge on Lake Oconee is at the hub of great major league and minor league baseball action. While watching the Atlanta Braves is a great experience, minor league ballparks offer tons of fun at a very affordable price. Minor league ballparks usually have plenty of kid friendly activities and events at each game. Seriously, try the Bacon!
